‘Roomscapes’ is an ongoing series where I explore the tension between the safety of four walls and the vastness of the wild. By turning floors into horizons, I try to capture that specific feeling of being protected while staring at the infinite, a juxtaposition of the domestic and the extraordinary.
The series is structured in two ways: editions and 1/1 pieces for singular collectors. You can see all previous pieces here: ROOMSCAPES.
Guest Rooms is the next step in this journey. I want to see this universe through the eyes of other creators. If you have received the link to this private page, it’s because I’m a huge fan of your work and I would be honored to have a room curated by you.
Roomscapes & Guest Rooms
As you can see in previous Roomscapes, the core concept is simple: an exterior scene inside a room.
Beyond that, you have absolute freedom. The room can belong to any style, era, or architecture: from minimalist concrete to classic or futuristic… As long as it feels like an enclosed or semi-enclosed space.
What defines a Roomscape is the surreal dialogue between the human scale of the interior and an exterior scene that, in my work, often manifests as the very floor of the room itself. The room acts as a familiar anchor, a "domestic sanctuary".
This scene can be natural, abstract, artificial, urban, or even a surreal void; it doesn’t need to be a natural scenery as seen in many of my previous Roomscapes. It can be any fragment of the world brought into the room, as long as it ideally matches the room's perspective to maintain that immersive 'surreal window' effect. The choice of what lies beyond the walls is entirely yours.
The Brief: Total Freedom
To make the process as seamless as possible, I’ve prepared a Starter Kit. It includes several empty rooms in high resolution.
As part of my role in supporting guest artists, I can try to provide the room the artist needs, whether it's a specific composition, a particular architectural style, or anything else.
Note: You are free to use these assets as a base, modify them, or ignore them completely and build your own architecture room from scratch. Your idea and style is what matters most here.
Empty Rooms
Medium & Format: Static or animated? It’s entirely up to you. Whether it's a high-res still or a complex loop, the goal is the poetic impact of the image.
Ownership & Splits: I plan to release these collaborations one by one, giving each piece the spotlight it deserves. My suggestion is to drop them as 1/1s. To ensure transparency, I will set up a dedicated Smart Contract for Guest Rooms, where both the split and secondary royalties will be handled automatically.
The Split: I suggest an 80/20 split (80% for the guest artist) plus 100% of secondary royalties. This small 20% share helps me cover the management and promotion of the series across my platforms and collector network.
Rights: The artwork is yours. You retain full commercial rights to your creation.
Timeline: This is an artist-to-artist collaboration, not a corporate commission. There are no rigid deadlines. I will adapt to your schedule; we move forward whenever the piece is ready.
